I believe in the time loop theory, the fact that they're trapped in an endless loop and that no matter how much they try and change the outcome they always end up doing the same performance over and over.
Also that Battery City/Zones is an alternate reality of DRAAG.
YES OMG the Detroit show has me losing it I also believe in the time loop theory and that Battery City is an alternate reality of DRAAG. I think that the closest that the two realities got to coming together was at the DC show when Ray and Mikey got stabbed. The droning guitar sound afterwards right before Blood reminded me of the intro to NA NA NA!! that might be a stretch or a coincidence but atp i'm taking nothing as chance xD. Blood actually had me feeiling bad for Pierrot tho lol (ToT)

@andrew_the_killjoy The korse one was in Glasgow and there was one show where he was reading a newspaper with the killjoys wanted thing and it was the same one that was in one of the danger days music videos

@andrew_the_killjoy I also remember seeing some footage from the danger days music videos on the back screen in like camera recordings I think during sleep or something like that but I can't find that for the life of me 😭 Same with some vids from tbp music videos. But there is so much danger days stuff in the tour now I'm really curious as to how it all connects.
@★Kinnister★ Found what I was talking about and the footage is during the dagger part of mama. Also noticed very clearly a bl/i logo in Detroit during this part and there's probably more stuff that I didn't notice.
The last two shows had me going crazy. Honestly kind of scared for tomorrows show xD. But I think I'm going to get my theories down after seeing what happens tomorrow since the last shows had a lot going on I don't think we're stopping now. I don't know what to expect lolz. Also the little intermission before Disenchanted reminds me of the intro to The Only Hope for Me Is You so another danger days song connection :D
@★Kinnister★ yeah they're unpredictable at this point. but yk what i've been thinking... what if at the last show ever of the black parade they actually manage to kill the dictator like they very obviously plan to, based on dagger, and that's how they break the loop. I don't know, might happen, might just be in my lltbp fanfiction idk. Anyway i'm going to find some deep dive video when i got the time that compiles all the new stuff and theorize.
i have a theory that Marianne and Sylvia are both in charge of things, bcz they are the only 2 people who dont show up in the reconditioning videos that play on the back screens during sleep
@_neamustdie_ ooh that's really interesting. It does look like they have a lot of power, but i think maybe they have a different story that we don't know about. Cause they both got their eyes damaged, that makes me think of some serious reconditioning happening. It could be a metaphor, especially for Marianne since she's blind like they can't see the truth of what's really happening, blinded by DRAAG propaganda.
This whole tour is all about eyes, it's inspired by 1984 after all and i love it.
Ok this thread kinda old but i feel like it wouldnt be right to not add to it after what happened in texas!!! omg i have so many thoughts about Gerard becoming the new dictator (and apparently having to eat blood to stay the dictator?) but then he got stabbed by the mumified dictator and all three clowns on stage.... i just dont even know the lore implications anymore (esp with the clown) T0T what is happening.
considering the pamphelt that Gee was reading, The Record of the Gentleman, i think maybe at least just this one person got a hold of one! its basically written from the perspective of The Gentlemen (who im so sad to see get burned DX) and hes talking about Gee (and the 3 others) basically being husks - llke vessels - to be used but also how sometimes Gee will gain clarity. He'll start talking bout how he and his friends stole a float and fought in the desert and went their separate ways which lines up basically verbatim with something Gee said in a previous show (maybe the one right before texas?). so what I wonder is if Gee is actually referencing the Famous Last Words music video. In various parts of the video theyre all covered in dust and laying on the ground, and ofc the float is destroyed behind them during the whole thing. There's even a clip of Frank like, making a stabbing motion with the guitar down to the ground. And we all know how Frank tackled Gee and about his ankle getting twisted lol. So but im wondering if that's going to lead into the beginning of Danger Days, or if Gee's just gaining his memories back about TBPID and how they got captured and imprisoned in the MOAT.
I feel like the duality of this story, being able to either go into the direction of Danger Days or LLTBP just feeds into the theory that they are alternate realities!
@✦k͜͡a͜͡y͜͡o͜͡n͜͡a͜͡k͜͡l͜͡0͜͡u͜͡d͜͡✦ don't worry i made this post so that it could be updated and yeah A LOT OF NEW THINGS HAPPENED IN TEXAS. i like your theory of famous last words mv leading to danger days, cause i instantly thought of danger days but it would connect it really well. Gerard becoming the Dictator made me really question who is in charge of all this. Also because when they burned the Gentleman at first Gerard cried but then he was like "wait im in charge, take that thing away, throw it in a hole or something" like he's been drugged, drugged by power and is now apathetic towards the things he loves. I have no actual theories yet but the gears are turning.
Okay i'm only here for the music, vibes, and gender. Can you catch me up to speed on what's been going on in these shows they're doing? I tried getting into the lore but i have no idea what the hell's going on, like you mean to tell me they're in a time loop? What about the guy who got his guts pulled by gee? Like is he still alive?( Pretty sure he'd be dead after that) and for some reason the killjoys and korse are involved? They're not even from the same album, we're talking about long live THE BLACK PARADE, why would they rope in the killjoys?
Honestly, if you don't want to explain it in detail then i'm cool with that, you could send me YouTube videos that can explain everything.
