Okay as a part 2 to my discussion about why 18+ don’t hang out with minors, minors, why do you hang out with people older then you and what’s the difference with hanging out with people your age then the older people you hang out with?

Do you guys have a reason why you guys hang out with people older then you then people your age? Do you guys have a preference for why so? I want to see the other side of this conversation, am 13 and most of my friends are in there 20’s or older teen years (17-19) I have a pretty good relationship with them and we often bond over favorite shows, movies, and Our OC’s we create together and our daily lives. For others it might not be the same but I want to know your guys reasons. 

among the many reasons people have stated: for me it's often cuz i can't talk to kids about sex stuff and i'm a spice writer. older folks i can talk to about it.

another reason is cuz i'm like a big protective bear to kids and even young adults so even if someone is like 22 i'm gonna be on my toes a bit because my maternal instincts go "PROTECT!!! PROTECT!!!" which prevents me from being able to relax.

iggy i think this is one of those things you're not going to understand until you're older.
