A quick and short poem about beauty. ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ–Š๏ธ

AN ODE TO HER.

The scent of roses screamed from her body;
It swallowed me whole, without a fight.
To me, it seemed she was so godly,
And that she would send me sweetly into the goodnight.

Her stare was that of a golden glow,
Which made the sun itself feel shame;
For she was an angel, dressed from head to toe,
In a light that overshadows even the most classy dame.

And when she finally speaks,
The birds will cease their singing,
Because her words will silence even the Ancient Greeks,
And leave our ears forever ringing.

And when it is time to say goodbye,
She won't go easy into the goodnight,
Because she was the angel who made the Gods cry,
And inspired us all to pick up our pens and write.
