Back to General Discussion

man i cant believe we lost dolly parton and tim curry on the same day

sad feels all round - both had such an impact on pop culture, and were iconic in their own right

anyway, this thread is all about tim curry and all the fab roles he's had over the years

practically everyone knows of him as dr frank-n-furter from rocky horror picture show

but did you know that wasn't the only musical he was involved in

he also starred as swindling crook rooster hannigan

in the 1980s movie adaptation of annie

anyway feel free to share your fav tim curry stuff here :meow:

It’s so bizarre they died on the same day, I feel like this can’t just be a coincidence…

this says it all

truly one of the great possessers of charm and sass in acting

this week sucks man

I knew him from command & conquer

Man I remember first seeing him as a kid in home alone 2 and then as a teen thinking of how familiar dr frank-n-furter looked in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. That made me like him even more :(

Literally WHAT is happening this week

My absolute favorite performance of his was as Wadsworth in Clue. Rest in peace Tim, you will be dearly missed.

given how he died right after dolly parton, it feels like a sequel to when ozzy osbourne and hulk hogan died within days of each other
