I am Pucj, I am unemployed. I am a very American looking Filipino-American and I live in Louisville, yes I have heard every variation of the Project Zomboid and KFC joke.
I review films for an unemployed living, they are mostly Japanese films but I love films from other countries, mainly China and Hong Kong and the US. One of my favorite films is Android Violator Hakaider. Some of my favorite film directors are Takashi Miike and Guillermo Del Toro. I am also a huge fan of the Godzilla films.
I have played many games and they range from Triple A, to Indie, to Gacha games. My favorite video game is Death Stranding, my favorite genre is hack and slash, and my favorite series is Metal Gear Solid followed by Yakuza. I have seen and interacted with the fandoms of most video games. I give all games a fair and unbiased chance divorced from their ratings and reputation. Except for Blue Archive. If you like Umamusume my favorite uma is Agnes Tachyon followed by Fenomeno.
I enjoy comic books and manga, I dislike very few of either medium and I hate even less. One of my favorite manga is Trigun. I am a huge fan of the superhero genre, DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, any of them.
I enjoy music from every genre, but I really enjoy Heavy Metal, Classical, and Visual Kei (I know they're not a genre dw) bands. My favorite band is Wounded Masquerade and a runner up would be Malice Mizer and Moi Dix Mois. I do not have a one specific favorite song as it fluctuates from time to time and ranges from artist to artist. I also like Aphex Twin, Yo Yo Ma, and Duster for some more insight.
I do not read many books or watch a lot of television, but I do enjoy anime and tokusatsu as the latter is a very important part of my identity.
My favorite Pokemon is Hypno and my favorite type is fighting, my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh card is the little hairball with huge eyes, my favorite Eeveelution is Flareon.
I do not follow sports, but I do dabble in combat sports from time to time.
I can be called something of a weeb or a japanophile, either term works. I consume a lot of Japanese media and music, study the culture, and I am in the process of learning Japanese. No, I do not view Japan as an exotic kawaii anime land, I am normal don't worry.
I apologize if this post comes across slightly unfriendly, I am trying to keep this formal and professional and I am very friendly. Promise.
I hope you enjoyed reading my introduction. Love and Peace!
