First of all, find out if you're a regular (left foot) or a goofy (right foot). And when you're pushing, don't keep your eyes on your skateboard the whole time, keep your eyes on what's ahead of you
The first thing you should definitely learn to do is try and balance for asking as you can on your board. Idk how to explain it but there’s videos on it
