I finished relistening to kc's discography today and I wanted to know other people's opinions on their albums, here's my personal ranking:
Red
Larks' Tongue in Aspics
Lizard
Discipline
In the Court of the Crimson King
Starless and Bible Black
Beat
Islands
In the Wake Of Poseidon
The ConstruKction Of Light
THRAK
Three of a Perfect Pair
The Power To Believe
Discipline
Red
Beat
Three of a Perfect Pair
Starless and Bible Black
In the Court
And then the rest admittedly sort of blend together for me. I really ought to give their last two a spin again because part of me feels like they're ignored too much.
@BurnsCarpenter Yeah construkction of light especially, it tends to get a lot of hate for the synthesized drums but there's a rerecording called the reconstrukction of light that uses acoustic drums instead that sound way better. Still not perfect tho but it mainly just has to do with the drums being repetitive. TPTB is just more of the same imo but slightly worse.
