Angel's Egg

I'm not too lazy to search this, I just despise Google and I love to hear people's personal reviews on topics like this.

I've seen people say Angel's Egg (1985 anime movie) has a deeper meaning to it, but I am so bad at interpreting media in a creative way. Is there really a deeper meaning behind it? I'm very curious.

I wonder if anyone on this platform has seen the movie

I've seen other people say the meaning is up to the interpretation of the watcher, I just never really had an interpretation I guess  The art is magnificent though.

I think I see how you interpreted that way. So do you think that the little girl was like dreaming/imagining the whole thing?  I honestly didn't see much Christian connection either.
