Anyone wanna share some vampire media? i'm especially interested in film but it could be a series/anime too. I saw the 1931 dracula (yes im weird like that) and interview with the vampire, jennifer's body is also a vampire movie i think and don't know where else to look.

It's a slog honestly, i wouldn't recommend it. I couldn't finish it. But eh, if you wanna do that, then go ahead.

@XxZ0mb1esR0txX I feel like the first movie is a bore, but the rest are really good; especially Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 & 2! My personal favourite is Breaking Dawn Pt. 2 when Bella finally becomes a vampire.

Personally my favourite movie is Renfield (2023), Universal also has various follow-ups to the classic 1930s movies too! I also really like from dusk till dawn and Sinners (though you may wanna look them up on the parents guide to make sure they’re okay for you to watch!), there’s also Blade which I’ve only watched the first half of & same with Dayshift. Honestly there’s a LOT of vampire media out there! Though I’m slowly becoming more of a zombie boy >_< (still love vampires tho!!!)

@andrew_the_killjoyYEAH!!! Renfield (2023) ties in with Dracula (1931)! It’s just that some aspects are changed, Nick replicates (I think) Dwight Fryes laugh so perfectly! And Dwight is one of my special interests ^_^ there’s also a few more movies he was in about vampires, like The Vampire Bat and Dead Men Walk! Both should be available on the Internet archive:D

i recently watched interview w the vampire (1994) (gay ass vampires omg) there's also a series that i am watching where they r even gayer, also someone recommended salems lot (1979) although i never watched it..., also... erm... twilight... I KNOW I KNOW BUT I LUV IT OK!!! also nosferatu (2024) RLY GOOD OK!!! also Abigail is a rly good one!!! also one of the dracula ones I DONT REMEMBER WHICH I THINK ITS A MORE RECENT ONE but yeah, there's also dark shadows that is more comedic but yeah!!!!

@andrew_the_killjoy it's also called interview with the vampire but it's from 2022 and it's slightly different from the film (especially bc it's got straight up gay vampires that actually kiss n r obsessed w each other) n it's more like in depth! i rly like it i'm almost finished w the 2nd season

Subspecies, and its sequels. Good old horror with good practical effects and stop-motion animation. Bonus points for actually being filmed in Romania.

Someone has mentioned it before but y'all gotta lock in for the interview with the vampire TV show. It's SO much better than the movie.
the radleys is a half decent vampire horror/comedy film, i watched it once and i thought it was kinda cringe but good yk?
