i do a lot of research on how to fix my mental health problems and it seems lately like 99% of my problems go back to "mallrat, you need to exercise regularly."
for instance i have anxiety problems and i use the bathroom over eight times a day. this suggests a problem with the vagus nerve which regulates both cortisol (stress hormone) levels and your gut health. exercise increases oxygen to the brain and stimulates the vagus nerve which fixes the problem.
i also have bipolar disorder and among other things that causes GABA in your brain to be out of whack. what repairs those cells? regular exercise which increases bloodflow to the brain and heals certain areas associated with GABA and related vitamins/minerals.
literally everything goes back to the fact that i'm sedentary. i don't fucking get it. i somehow can't get myself to exercise even though i know it would solve a bunch of problems i have--i did cardio over an hour a day in high school (ddr at the highest setting back in 08) and it was so good for my brain that i didn't even need medication.
so why the fuck won't i exercise?????????????????
someone give me some motivation please because i can't seem to get myself to get out of bed early enough to go to the gym or even do stretches at home.
