mince me like meat but i think needy snoozefest overload (needy streamer overload) was boring as hell... dont get me wrong i love the characters, but the gameplay, having to work towards endings, and trying to avoid getting the fucking flatline ending is super exhausting and could put me and 30 other people to sleep

sure its a highly influential game that spawned a great game series and i value it for that but the original Metroid for the NES is such a slog to get by. definetly not the most boring game ever but man this old thing is boring and annoying

don't hurt me.. but animal crossing new horizons... like after a year I'll log on then never play it again for months straight then the cycle repeats like it's a GOOD game and i love it and have like 336 hours on it but it gets boring after a while </3
so i am not recommending this game because it's boring, but because it's peaceful/light and should calm you down enough to get you to go to bed: hamtaro ham hams unite. it is sweet and silly and is a good sendoff to bed as far as games go.
the sequel, ham ham heartbreak, is a little more chaotic so i recommend it less for bedtime, but is still a cozy game.
Somebody mentioned lobotomy corporation and they're 100% right. Genshin impact gets an dishonorable mention cos the game sucks cock and does not get better later on like the fans say. Also hollow knight cos the exploration sucks, the bosses aren't even that fun or difficult asides from like maybe 2 or 3, they just go on forever, and most of the areas are boring to look at. Better than the other 2 tho.
Genshin fans saying "it gets better" is just buyer's remorse for already spending that much time on the game(source: me, ex-genshin fan that used to say it gets better just out of already spending that much time on the game)
icl valorant. Also the Isle Evrima and Helldivers 2 are soooo boring. This also might be a hot take but factorio is boring as fuck as well
