Does anyone have paranormal experiences?

My family told me I was possessed when we lived in a haunted house, strange things happened there.

Have you ever had a supernatural experience? Whether it be possession, past life regression, entity summoning, magick and that kind of stuff

In what way was the house haunted and what happened? I saw my mother one time in the house when she wasn't there, walking down the corridor. Maybe just hallucination. Otherwise I saw weird lights a few times, one white light flying overhead at speed and one was in a nearby field, a blue light, moving v slowly. Another time I saw what looked like a massively bright light behind my curtains light up my whole room through light coming in through around the curtains, I could see everything in the room, when i got up to look outside nothing was there and no footprints in the snow. So maybe hallucination again. Who knows. None of this happened before I smoked cannabis ;-)

I haven't had many in quite some time but I used to get a lot growing up. The last time I experienced anything paranormal was in 2023/2024, been quiet from the ghosts since then.

I think my earliest kinda paranormal thing I've been told 'happened' (quotations because can we ever be really sure of something 100%?) to me was that I was always scared of a specific chair in my great grandmother's house. My mum used to say I would cry, complaining about a man sitting there all the time. Turns out my great grandmother's recently deceased husbands favourite chair to sit on. I had apparently met him when he was alive but I think he died a little while after I was born in like 2006, maybe 2007.

Spiritual things like ghosts and the like are things I do believe in but I have to take some of it with a pinch of salt too. When I was younger, I was prone to hallucinations, particularly hypnagogic hallucinations and other types of night time ones. I was seeing demons, Jesus etc and my family thought it was quite funny when I told them that I 'saw Jesus' (we were vaguely culturally protestant living in the central belt of Scotland lol I didn't have a religious bone in my body lmao). I also used to see characters from animated films I really enjoyed. The presence of seeing stuff obviously not real like the animated film characters makes me heavily believe I just had a childhood case of hallucinations which is more common than you'd think.

For the more recent ones (2023 and 2024) they were in my grandfathers house. I used to get the creeps whenever I was there and I could feel someone cold touching me in bed once but there was no one there obviously.

You mentioned being possessed, thats quite an extreme example. What's your family's religious background/culture? I barely hear about possessions anymore in the modern day outside of evangelical stuff and sometimes obscure arabic muslim stuff. Did they have to expel the demons out of you with a ritual?

Just to be honest I had none but if I gotta be honest about one thing is that after my mother had died pictures started falling off the wall and sometimes I felt watched late at night and would hear tapping on the window outside when none was there
