how r u guys getting good band shirts??

Back to Help & Advice

from what i can tell the most common bands on here havent been making merch for ages - is everyone just paying the reseller prices on ebay n stuff or is there better sites for that? or are you making them yourself and how

(i do have some designs id wanna put on shirts myself icl, so any tips on the best way to make ur own shirts would b appreciated anyways)

rock sound has some cool shirts

Go to the shows? It's still usually like $30 for a shirt at the show but it's fine, that's how bands make their money when they're touring.

@Gengar the issue is none of the bands I want shirts from are touring anymore because most of them are broken up💔also i think theyre more expensive here cuz ive never paid less than £40 ($54)

not sure if this just around in my area, but there are shops that do custom prints on high quality shirts for around 15-20 bones depending on cost of material, cost of paint etc. ours have a code of content on what you can put the shirts on, but it mainly is about things like political extremity and the sort

ive gone through one of them twice - if you find a good place to do it, the print will look good after multiple washes and you'll be allowed to design your own shirts (or reuse designs from shirts that may just be off sale)

@𝄢 lynn if there are no shops around you, a good quality fabric marker also will withstand multiple washes (though it is REALLY hard to paint on fabric without a stencil or something else to outline from, and even then it might be difficult... ive never done a full shirt with fabric markers so take this one with a grain of salt)

im gonna be honest if u wanna get a dope band shirt or a singer that doesn’t look cheap,u have to search a lot on Vinted

I'd recommend getting iron on transfer paper!! They sell fabric versions at most craft stores. I would be wary about the print (aka just wash inside out, on cold, with like colors tbh, usual precautions). I also believe there's photo transfer mod-podge that can be mixed with fabric softener to make for prints. Also Rockabilliy has a ton of older shirts that may fit what ur looking for
