what are we thinking about SheezyArt/does anyone use it??

ok, so after deviantart went belly-up (or is at the least dead to me), i was trying to find a new place to slap my art onto. i saw some youtubers talkin about this website called sheezyart, and honestly it does seem pretty kewl, not just for the nostalgic feeling of old-school deviantart, but also just...on its own. you can very easily turn on and off content filters for stuff you don't wanna see, AI art is...not really a thing there to my knowledge? and overall it looks pretty amazeballs!!!

that bein said tho, i wanna hear from peeps who have used it just so i know what i'm gettin' into! stepping into the "indie web" is excitin' but does have its risks. what do y'all think about sheezyart?

ive never heard of sheezyart, maybe i should check it out! itd be nice to check out other "old web" sort of sites, esp since i never got a chance to see old DA in all its glory

ive never heard of sheezyart! you could probably guess from my profile and blogs but deviantart wasting away over the last half-decade was such a huge bummer to me, since it was a big part of my art sharing experience growing up. i'm always kinda hesitant to throw myself at new social sites/apps because it gets tedious to manage, but if you had a good experience with it i might check it out when i can too :3c its been hard to find art-focused spaces that aren't also struggling to maintain an active population, so i'm curious to know if sheezyart seems active and growing its community well?
