I'll start, Spirit Phone (by lemon demon) is a pretty strange album all things considered, I struggle to recommend it to most people but it's one of my favorite albums ever lolz.

Not sure if it’s ‘unusual’, but Selcouth Stranger by Marni gives me a deep sense of uneasiness. Which, I’m not sure if I should recommend, but I like it
My best answer is probably anything involving Jim O'Rourke (his solo songwriter albums, the Loose Fur albums, the Wilco albums he was involved with). I don't know enough unusual music.
Nonagon infinity by King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard has always had a very weird but interesting concept to me- it loops back on itself through song transitions (the ones that just play immediately into the next song with perfect overlap... not sure what they're called) and can loop for infinity. definitely weird! even more complicated by the fact that lines from other songs overlap and show up in scattered places throughout the album

@taywur you know Ada rook. She makes pretty good music actually.
Faster Than Sex by Vargskelethor Joel

Mother Earth's Plantasia - Mort Garson. The synopsis is instrumental music made to help plants grow faster. It's very beautiful and well-made using the Moog synthesizer, and just my favorite instrumental work ever. Perfect music to study with, sleep, relax, or, in my case, read 60s Fantastic Four comics.
Geogeddi is a pretty good ambient electronic album. A lot of the songs have interesting stories behind them too.
