While were on the anniversary of 9/11, as a Muslim, I do think of a world where that event never happend in the first place. I really do wish it never happend, not only because of the lives lost but how Muslims are permanently punished to a legacy of bad connotations on our backs and people thinking were dangerous, to the point where people dont even want a Muslim mayor to attend the memorial.Â
Its just really hard to think about because of how much damage it caused to Muslims and how its almost the only reason why hatred towards us exists in the first place. I hate that people dont understand how were not the enemy and how the majority of us heavily condem it.
America has done bad stuff too and they dont get any where near as much as hate as we do. Idk maybe im dragging it, but just think every aspect of what happend on that day was beyond unfair for everyone that was affected.
