I've been thinking about old web culture lately and how incredible flash games were. Whether it was playing on sites like Coolmath, Newgrounds, Friv, etc, everyone had those few games they were obsessed with.

😌The waitress is a great management game that scales up in difficulty reallyyyy perfectly.
I am 99.999% sure I just set the world record for The Waitress this morning!!!!!!! My score is twice; and almost thrice as good as all the #1 scores back in the day on all the old flash sites and in the archive.org comments as well. I would have done better, but the only problem is you can't dump your tray if you make a mistake. (Not bad I don't make mistakes.)
BUTTTTT if you have lets say.... TEN lives saved up and get a double order of omletes and they walk on you at the last second and then the next FIFTEEN people don't order any omletes..... You're fucked... That's how I lost this run. Had two omletes one second from delivering to the table and they walked. Literally the worst RNG possible for a failure. (Literally a 1% chance to die from a single mistake (3/4 ^15) with max lives and it was STILL my best run ever!) AND I did it without sleeping for 24 hours!! Sorry for gloating so much but it's true lol
None of the other management games except maybe burger shop scratches this intense management context switching/multitasking itch for me.

Raze!! I love love LOVED this game as a kid and recently replayed the whole campaign mode, still fun as hell. And the soundtrack is permanently stuck to my head activating me like a sleeper agent whenever I randomly hear it in a video
This game is also amazing, it's like real time monopoly with weapons and items and actual strategy.

God I played so many, but I think my all time favorite would have to be MineBlocks on Zanzlanz.com. And funny enough it was barely due to the game itself at all, people would do serious RP in a Chatango chat that was linked on the site itself and I was lowkey a regular in that when I was like 9 or 10.
My 10 year old self was already setting me up for who I am now by role-playing the moodiest demon boy with a traumatic past, banished from hell and now protecting the people he's grown to care about. Edge lord McGee absolutely. Once I started getting into CreepyPasta and Slender ARGs too it was so over for people there.
I still have the email I used for that RP too, it's one I still actually use a lot even if it actively misgenders me now LMAO. Crazy to think I've been writing pretty actively for like over half my life now though. Maybe I should be doing something with that, huh.

Other games I played were MMO's that ran using flash.. Club Penguin, Neopets, Moshimonsters,,, just to name a few! ( I still play the remade versions of these games, mainly neopets IF U HAVE NEOPETS HMU I WANT FRIENDS THERE :PPP ⋆｡°✩⋆｡°✩)
my favourites were the one where you had to roam a school as a school girl and make boys fall in love with you, sometimes you could even compete with other girls for a guy. whats even crazier is it had several games with diff locations which also included a beach and a japanese traditional festival lolol
i would also frequently play this particular winx dress up game bc it had a KILLER soundtrack (stereo love by edward maya & vika jigulina) & it was the only way for me to listen to it as i didnt know how to use yt at the time lol. i also remember one of them had lady gaga's unreleased song called fashion playing, which sounds insane to me
