what did u guys think about the ending? personally, i feel like....it was too happy of an ending for me if that makes sense...i feel like there was so much buildup for things that like for how they teased it, youd think would end horribly but ended up pleasent? like i love a good ending dont get me wrong but for a psychological horror like tadc, i feel like the ending was just a bit too happy.

lmk if any1 else feels the same pls..

I have a lot of critique for the ending, but it more so has to do with where the direction of the show went.. it got a bit too Jax-centric imo, and that's coming from a Jax fan 🤷

the ending didn't really answer what a lot of us were hoping for.

@alicezc0miczYES THANK U IVE BEEN SAYING THE EXACT SAME THING

I went very excited to the cinema but the whole thing just felt...rushed. Whole important plot parts resolved in minutes and barely given any screentime. Also i was hoping to get more insight on everyones backstories not only Jax. It was like 90% Jax 10% the rest of the things we need to explain.

i liked the initial ending, since im glad every character turned out happy (im a sucker for happy endings okay), but it felt pretty rushed at times.. i wish they made it longer in general, like wdym jax abstracted and they barely elaborated??? they could have given us a BEAUTIFUL cinematic moment of jax abstracting and (very possibly) the other characters finding jax. so much emotion could be portrayed, and i would so prefer that over the choppy section they gave us of it. along with that, i hate how i had to find out jax was trans from twt instead of a genuine scene about it, why cant they elaborate fully in the show instead of giving us hints and then saying it fully online?? that part was really annoying, they could've had amazing, enlightening scenes for jax and the coming out scene but instead chose to just make it feel like a last minute decision? :(

on a positive note, i REALLY liked jax's backstory and lore. it felt so real and relatable, and i cried sm during it </3 jax used 2 be my least fav tadc character, and now jax is gen in my top 3 (and i was an AVID jax hater okay). but again, more negatively, they could've had an episode mainly focused on jax and the backstory, THEN a pure finale with a mix of them all? in general, tho, it was pretty good!! :D

does any1 have any insightful thoughts on transfem jax !?!?! wuld luv to hear them ♡

@⟢cl0ut_f31nᝰ.ᐟ i think its actually really cute. at first i thought it made more sense for her to be ftm instead of mtf but after like really focusing on the clues, it makes more sense. even thought the subtleness is nice, i wish it was more outright hoenstly

@chittaphon_my_only_10 YEAh i agree,, i wish there was like a magic ending that confirmed it.. ribbit putting a bow on her after the whole talk was good tho imo

i think goose's fear of filler episodes made it so we didn't have enough time to really care about any of the characters, so the end felt a little flat. i did feel really bad fur jax, the emotional goodbye definitely made me tear up a little.

i think some of the jax criticism is a bit much, labeling goose as having made the worst trans rep when the story seems to be more of a cautionary tale and allat

i had fun tho i liked it

I think the ending kinda made me think the show's writing to be much more amateurish than what I gave credit for. But it's whatever, Goose can improve and I don't hold it against her lol

Strip your EXIF

it was okay at best. For some reason every character's IQ went down by 20 points specifically in the finale and the whole movie could have REALLY benefitted from having a longer runtime because a ton of stuff just got glossed over.

With that being said tho, it had some great sections in it like pomni looking through all those doors was really cool. And the actual ending itself is something I'm not really a fan of but also cant really complain about since it was technically satisfying

I watched it in theatres with my bestfriend and it was ok but jax had soooo much screentime also it would probably be better if Caine was in the recycling bin instead of the void like why was he in the void after getting deleted?? also for a sec when Jax said “congratulations Zooble” I thought she was gonna start singing jax’s requiem 😭

idk why people are so harsh about it, it is an indie project with a very new creator, it just happened to get popular as fuck since the studio was already pretty big

I feel like the show's biggest problem on the whole is that it physically could not give screentime to every cast member, which is why I'm not entirely upset it becoming the Jax show at the end, nor surprised

idk, maybe it's because I went in with very little expectations, I went into the show post-hype expecting a mid tier show and got pleasantly surprised. Very flawed show but something directly from the creators heart, and I fuck with that

i think if you go into the show as a new fan expecting jax, you might have a better time with it than i did. but i expected all the characters to get equal development, meanwhile jax took up all the movie screentime and zooble stood in the corner, except unlike millie helluva boss, their legs are just as thin as their actual character. i just wasn't satisfied with it because that's not what i expected from the show and it honestly feels like a waste of 3 years
