recently ive fell in love with the sound of midwest emo, math rock and overall emo music; i cant get enough of it. Especially when they have violins, like kind of like spitting and first day back. Give me some recommendations!! id love to hear them.

Some of my all time favorites are Brave Little Abacus, This Town Needs Guns, and cap'N Jazz. Hella and GIRAFFES? GIRAFFES! are more math rock instrumentals, but still top tier.

Fighting Starlight by Benton Falls is an INCREDIBLE album. more of a 2nd wave kinda sound but it has some of the twinkly midwest guitars and i think one of the tracks has a bit of a cello.
I don’t have recommendations I just wanted to join in the discussion
