i’m genuinely obsessed with these three an their dynamic. while this doesn’t explicitly say anything, and it was just a random thing i had daydreamed at work before writing it on my lunch break, i still think it says a bit: albeit, not very descriptive (lack of time) and not really interesting. anyhow… lmk what you think! yes, i’m aware there are errors but i was genuinely dizzy the entire day. whew.
The night was quite cozy to Sam. The girls were engulfed in the fruit platter Fredrick (Sam’s father) had prepared for them, except for Megan, who insisted she wasn’t hungry. It was a nice feeling to have company other than useless boyfriends.
Sam hadn’t realised how naturally close they were before, until she saw that neither questioned the fact that they were comfortably sat in their underwear on Sam’s bed. The TV played some video that Sam had honestly not been paying attention to, but Megan was very fixated on. Andrea flipped through a fashion magazine, seemingly unimpressed with its contents so far.
Megan broke the silence, “Oh, this case is horrifying.” She said, eyes glued on the TV.
Andrea’s head perked up, “The fact that you only watch true crime worries me.”
Megan waved her hand in the air in a dismissing way. She said: “None of that, none of them, it’s just interesting. Honestly, has no one stopped to wonder if these true crime videos could teach killers to actually get better?”
Sam’s eyebrow raised, “What? Do you plan on slicing someone up?” She asked, albeit a half joke.
Megan clicked her tongue and said, “Erm… no. I’m not capable of that. Well, actually I’m at my very limit with Logan, but if I did hypothetically drop him in a river you wouldn’t know.”
That answer didn’t help Sam’s minor concern.
Andrea, however, surprisingly didn’t seem to mind, just said: “Just don’t get us wrapped up in that case of yours. Hypothetically, of course.”
Sam blinked, even more lost than before, and asked: “As a joke, right?”
The two girls were quiet, before Andrea answered with a dry, “Sure.”
