Play through you’ll forget?

For me it was my first play through of persona 5 in high school. Had heard about the game from my friends and wasn’t sure if I’d like it since I never really played rpgs. But it was 20 bucks on sale and I decided to pick it up and then didn’t put it down for the next month. I had never played a game with so many characters I gave a shit about and story that I could actually relate with. Plus the gameplay was something that just clicked so well with me, the social sim plus dungeon crawling was just the right ratio to never make me bored. And the last section took me about 6 hours total to complete and get to the credits and by god I had never felt so complete in finishing something. I never really reflected on my experiences with a game before that, but playing persona 5 made me realize that I can like a multitude of games that I wouldn’t think I’d enjoy. Thats not even mentioning the visuals and music which I'm sure you know how fantastic they are and that still influence my tastes to this day. All this to say that persona 5 means a lot to me, it got me into the franchise and I’ve played pretty much every other game in the series and even a bit of smt. Its a play through that changed me as a person and I'll always love it for that.

For me it's my playthrough of NieR Automata. Everything was so foreign to me, I was barely understanding anything but was really enjoying the action packed story. I didn't know about the 4 ending standard in Yoko Taro games so after ending B I was like "oh man, this was such a good game." and then the game showed a trailer for the latter half of the game and I actually jumped off my seat and went "THERE'S MORE?!?!!??!"

The rest of the game was such an emotional rollercoaster that I cannot possibly elaborate on without spoilers but those feelings will stick with me forever. What a great game

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories

The whole story is about forgetting and the card system is forgetful 😭

I will always respect the balls on square to release a cannon sequel to kingdom hearts on the fucking gba and then have the events in that tie into kingdom hearts 2. 

kill me but it has 2 be ddlc.. it really isnt as good as everyone says it is and the game was way too short to be memorable for me

if you meant "never forget," ill probably go with ace attorney!! i really loved the gameplay and the way they progressed through the story was amazing. the plot twists were also pretty amazing for a law game

I'll never forget my first playthrough of warioware gold!!! Ok well I had watched a bunch of gamethroughs of it beforehand but actually playing it made me feel so giddy, I started playing it during one of the toughest phases of my life so far, and playing it helped me distract from it because I would just fangirl over penny and mike and crygor the entire time and stopped me from thinking too much about what was happening/how I felt. (Ok that’s enough talking about warioware for the 1000th time (╯︵╰,)) but yeah it wasn't really that the game was like STUNNING it just happened to meet me at the right time which is why I'll never forget it.  

Sky children of the light is probably one ill forget, not the story nor the special events but the endless days of just grinding to get accessories. Since I was mostly a solo player it was SUPPERRR boring just being by myself (not the game’s fault) and I basically fell out of love with the game after a few years bc it was a grindfest after awhile. I won't forget the really good events but i will be forgetting the endless days i'd spend doing daily activities.
