This person set off all kinds of red flags and after I post this, I will report the account. What happened is that they added me a while back I believe, today they randomly dm’d me and it was a normal conversation of getting to know each other. They try to move the conversation to discord, first red flag, said they never get notifications from here and said to add their discord (no “do you have discord?” Just straight to it). They ask about hobbies and they talk about how they like drawing and asked me if I would like to see. I said I was down and they sent me a link. That’s the second red flag. I say that I don’t trust links from new people online, and I ask to see screenshots or photos instead. They sent pictures and the art is really good but none of the art styles match each other. After sending the art, they ask if they could make “cool artwork” for me for reasonable prices, I say I don’t rly have much money bc I don’t have a job (I don’t, and before you come at me I’m WORKING ON IT. Jobs LOVE to ignore your applications or ghost you, anyways). They proceed to say “I understand I’m not asking much, if you are really interested so you can give me a small commission it would be very helpful for me”
“Can you tell me your budget?”
This is the third red flag bc i literally said I don’t have much money, in fact I don’t have any money and so I said, “$0, I spent the majority of my money on groceries a few days ago and then I’m going to spend what I have left on gas”
“I understood but tbh I am in need can you do it rn $30?” (THE FOURTH AND BIGGEST RED FLAG)
“I will make a headshot artwork of your’s fvrt character”
I said I don’t have $30, I don’t have $20, or $10, or $1 eitherÂ
They responded with “aight np”
And that was the end of our conversation. The whole thing gave me a really bad gut feeling to moment they sent the link. They sent a website called “behance” and I’ve never seen that before so if you have experience with that website pls lmk but yea. ALSO I THINK SOME OF THE ARTWORK IS AI BUT LIKE I CANT TELL!!!
