how important are spoiler warnings to you?

maybe its just me, but i feel like it can be really hard to avoid spoilers (especially for new shows/movies) online nowadays, partly because people don't always bother with spoiler warnings

maybe discussing every major spoiler should come with a warning just for courtesy, after all i havent seen every film ever just yet, even some of the all time most popular ones ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

how old do you guys think a piece of media should be to not need spoiler warnings anymore? or how popular? let me know what u think kthxbai :)

hmmmm interesting question !! i really think it depends on the kind of spoiler and the age of whatever movie or series you’re talking about !! spoilers that are generally known ( like darth vaders identity or similar stuff ) don’t really need a spoiler warning i thinkkkkkk BUT if the spoiler reveals the entire plot or any major character deaths they SHOULD have a warning. anything that majorly impacts the enjoyment or surprise of the material should be tagged !! especially for still running shows :D 

but you are SO right, avoiding spoilers in this day and age seems basically impossible, i have been spoiled so many things i would’ve wanted to find out on my own terms but oh well,,, ://
