Even though they now said thats for 4K resolution or whatever, what the actual fuck happened to get that with a visual novel regardless? And who plays a visual novel in 4k? You can get really good looking VNs without insane PC requirements. I'd argue its actually really hard to get a VN to need anything remotely like that. I've ran super high quality visual novels on my potato laptop, most people who primarily play visual novels aren't gonna have a gaming computer either.
I'm stunned. I've been making jokes about theoretical super poorly optimized visual novels for years, but I never thought it would actually happen.
Are they gonna have ray tracing on Hinata like what is happening here? How did they get to this point? Even huge VNs aren't like this. 40 GB of free space is nutty too. Thats like 5 times the amount something like Clannad needs. I'm at a huge loss, and at the same time this is the funniest shit to me. Ffs Danganronpa 2 itself needs 7 GB space max. Even if its twice the content, thats still 14 GB if you just multiply it.
