forum signatures?

this is kind of directed to any older users lol

but im getting increasingly more curious about forum signatures; making one, any px restrictions, proper usage, yadda yadda. and im wondering if anyone who used to have one of those misses them and would ever like to go back to them. i dont know if theres people out there still using them (or if the text at the end of a reply also counts as a forum signature!! honestly it probably is...) since the forum sites ive been lurking on dont seem to use them unless the site is a few decades old.

are they any fun to have? just a curious soul trying to abate it >3>

ive seen some people use forum signatures around here! its made me remember this question i had...

i wonder whats the thought process that goes into them? im kind of interested in doing one, but im worried that i might be overthinking it.. still, id like to know stuff about it!! 

i have realized that it still counts as a forum signature even if theres only text, and i think you can have whatever border you want, as long as it separates the comment from the actual signature?

I think they're fun! I loooove customization. I'm seeing some trends in the content of them with my friends , I'm a little out of the loop on the norms proper though. One of my friends has a blinkie in their signature, I put little stars in mine!

I remember there was always people around who'd take requests for custom signatures and user icons.

I dunno but I love them and I made my current one in old ms.paint...

I was thinking about having one, how do i do it? do i have to manually do the ---- to divide it? 

Mine is a kiss print! Cause, I think if I wore lipstick 24/7 I would use that along with my actual signature!
