First concert….TIPS PLS!!

MY FIRST CONCERT IS SOON!! Im going to Weezer: the gathering tour and I need some tips please! I’m sensitive to bright lights and loud noises but I have a seat in the back so idk if that will still be the biggest problem. Also should I bring trinkets like bracelets to trade/give out or is that just like a pop concert thing because I know some people like to give out stuff like that but idk for this. Any tips would be appreciated!!( I’ll be with my family tho which so I won’t be alone!)

I completely recommend bringing bracelets or trinkets to trade. I brought a bunch of kandi to a my chem concert recently and there were SO MANY PEOPLE trading shit there, people trade at rock concerts too. It’s also really fun. If you’re nervous about approaching people, don’t worry because people who want to trade/giveaway stuff will likely approach you first.

Also this is very important: BRING A POWERBANK AND A CHARGER!!! That way if your phone dies during or after the concert, you can recharge it and avoid getting stranded.

You might also want earplugs just in case they play a bit too loud. 

first off OMG WEEZER CONCERT YESS!!! but for sure bring trinkets and bracelets! i feel like weezer is definitely a group that would have trinket trading fans!! (≧∇≦)ﾉ earplugs alwayss!! and comfy shoes if you plan on standing in line for merch ^_^also probably eat before you get there!

I’m probably late but make sure to bring a portable charger and a charging cord, a jacket, a clear backpack (make sure to read the rules for the venue) maybe a clear plastic water bottle that’s empty so you can fill it with water once you get inside, make sure to eat beforehand because venues are pricey with everything, ear plugs and make headphones to go over them depending on how noise sensitive you are and then for the lights thing, I’m not too sure but maybe sunglasses(?) might help. Before the concerts starts, find where the restrooms are. Also be courteous to others, don’t use flash unless it’s an “everyone turn on their flash” sort of situation, don’t sing the lyrics extremely loud (when it’s not the appropriate situation such as the singer singing softly, etc) because it is very frowned upon and hey, maybe you’re singing will be the highlight of someone’s TikTok video and all the comments will be talk about how annoying the loud singing is. Anyways lmk if you have any other questions, I have been to like 20+ concerts!
