I’ve never dyed my hair but always have wanted to and I rlly want to but idk if my parents will let me…every time I mention it they think of the 1 day washable ones not permanent hair dye like the one I want!! Also my older brother gets “grossed out” by bright colored hair but I don’t want bright hair soooooooooooooooooooooooo…idk any tips?
My advice would be to start small and show them toned down versions of what u want!! My friend got her parents to agree by saying she'd start with highlights in a less bright colour and js made them bigger and brighter each time until her whole head was neon pink :P

@𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐤 my advice is the opposite lol, when I asked my parents to let me dye my hair i went big then agreed to compromise with them. I asked for a full pink hair look then went “fine then what about just a pink balayage?” and got it!! my mom even buys me pink dyes so the color doesn’t fade and stays pink and bright.
