Sony Playstation might be busted

Sony recently said this famous quote that "only unreasonable players would truly believe they owned their digital games.

But now they are getting sued again!!! Many times on their blog posts and related websites to Playstation had many times directly mislead players litterally saying they own their digital games.

What does this mean in actuality.

1. Sony things the judge and consumers are ignorant.

2. It means now Sony is at high risk of being told by a judge to stop using the term buy when you the player purchases a digital game. To something like rent or buy a license.

Because what Sonys terms of services says about how you have a limited license that can be revoced at anytime is different then what Sony is telling the consumers to their faces.

I recommend people pay attention to the outcome of this.

Sony is either lying or they want their cake while eating it too. 

I've been saying this multiple times now.

With how Sony is going with Sony PlayStation.

I just wish Sony PlayStation never succeeded the way it did since it was first released in Japan in 1994 and just massively flopped like Panasonic 3DO Interactive Multiplayer did and just like Panasonic alongside with 3DO they never stepped back in Video Game Console Market again.

And the turnout of Fifth Generation Of Home Video Game Console Sales were the #2 Top Selling Home Video Game Console Worldwide was the Sega Saturn and the #1 Top Selling Home Video Game Console Worldwide was the Nintendo 64.

It sucks too cause I grew up playing on PlayStation at my BFFs house and I've always liked how the controllers felt, the game selection, even the UI from generation to generation. Before all of this, I was seriously debating getting a ps5 to upgrade from my ps4 and Xbox one, but I just can't keep throwing money at a company all too greedy for it.

Somehow I'm not suprised they would say something like that. That is usually what happens when management changes and companies grow into conglomerates. It's supposed to be illegal for companies to get as big as they do now, but they always find loopholes in the laws and buy up everything, getting bigger and bigger.

Too bad it's probably too late to go back now, most people have already accepted the uncertainty that buying digital games consequence (unknowingly or knowingly). I have always considered buying physical is the most future proof alternative, but of course it's getting harder and harder to do so. I still feel bad for those who genuinely believe that something controlled and upkept by someone else is their to keep forever.
