Arcade Rhythm Games

I like to go to the arcade to play rhythm games and it had me wondering what games people enjoy ^^ 

So what is your favorite rhythm game and why :3? 

My favorites are Groove Coaster, maimai, Music Diver ^^

I really enjoy the mechanics of groove coaster, they're so interesting to me and even though I suck at remembering which colors/visuals mean what I still really enjoy the variety in things to do since a lot of rhythm games are just "hit this in time"

I enjoy MaiMai because of how big the screen is i feel like I'm fighting for my life to keep up with how much is going on

And then I love music diver cuz I just like hitting with the drum sticks 

But I also love the music selection from all three!! I love Vocaloid and singers like eve and ado so getting to go out and play games with the music I love is always a great time!

I am not so good with arcade rhythm games. I did consider getting a DDR pad at home because that thing makes me sweat like crazy. It would also help me practice it :) I'd love to use it as a workout tool.

My friend is into Dancerush Stardom. I love to watch him go. Watching people go at that machine is also so cool

I also like taiko no tatsujin...I love Don Wan... he's SO CUTE!!!!!!! 😭💕💕

My arcade has an untranslated machine. Idk wtf it says but I love the drum mechanic as well. Not too good at it but I play because of Don Wan 🤣

Ah i love the maimai machine. My personal favorite will always be ddr (even though it takes forever for any new songs to be added ever), but back when chrono circles were still a thing those were my favorites. Though i guess maimai is basically the same thing as chrono circle lol. Im also super into the wacca machines but they tend to give me a slight headache if i do them for more than a couple hours~

i think the rhythm game i'm most into would be Muse Dash, though i'm not sure if it counts, i don't think it has an arcade version...

oh, on that note, though, i went on a trip to a local mall, and the mall has a japanese arcade with all sorts of japanese arcade cabinets, it was the first time i ever saw cabinets for Project Diva and Sound Vortex in person, i really need to go back once i have the money
