How did you guys make friends in university?

I started last friday with an introduction day, but I was too shy to talk to someone so I still don't know anyone. Matter of fact I'm also living all alone in a new apartment in a city where idk anyone (at 17..)

I guess my question is just, how did you guys do it? How did you make friends in university or college or any type of school where you were completely new and where you didn't know anyone?

I know if I give it time I'll definitely make friends eventually, but I don't want to be alone :'(

when I first started I also didn’t know anyone… I just kind of… started to approach the people that seemed nice. From my experience those other people are also searching for new friends. It’s kind of weird at the beginning but when it “clicks” with someone it gets way easier! just stick to socializing, being yourself and really listening to them when talking! gl <3
