BRAND NEW CHANEL$ - SLAYYYTER

8/10

ANOTHER DIVA FOR THE BOOKS? I can see why you love this song hehe I really enjoyed the shift in song with the drop I wanted to get up and get all dressed up and be girlie. IF THAT MAKES SENSE LOL. It's neat cuz it's not even one of the craziest songs ive heard today. Theres nothing inherently crazy ab this song, but I think thats why I like it. its just a fun song!

@GORGELLA

I WOULD TRUST UR TASTE IN MUSIC! I LOVED THIS SONG AND THE VIBES IT GIVES!

SHED - TITLE FIGHT

8/10

I was really rocking out to this one! I had a hard time understanding the lyrics at some parts but regardless of that I was still jamming out. it's also a pretty short song, despite that they managed to play a lot. Because I got the spotify link to the album the next song by them "Flood of 72'" I actually really enjoyed a lot!! overall a group I wanna listen to more of^^ Thanks for the introduction to them!

@bag_of_Ramen

Sorry for the late replies starting from here on out (for anyone who actually reads these besides OP)
I have been busy!! BUT i'm back to rating a few songs while I have time! thanks for the awesome reccs!

HEAVEN SENT - ESTHERO
10/10

Omg I was not expecting that. as soon as it started playing I was shocked and started swaying. IDK how to explain it but the beat and song are so criminally smooth and sexy at the same time??? This is a really beautifully composed song & the singer makes it better too. her voice fits it so well! I'm usually picky about slower songs, but this one was executed perfectly. ITS SO GOOOODD!!! AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT ENDINGGG GOD I FELT LIKE I WAS ASCENDING. I saved it immediately^^

BIRTHDAY CAKE - CIBO MATTO

9/10

I was questioning if I was gonna like it for the first half but then something kinda clicked halfway. Caught myself swaying and jamming to this one. I really like how "loud" the singer feels. The song is also so ridiculously catchy, I wanna have the chorus on repeat in general its such a fun song!

@AgejoAngel

DUDE THESE WERE SUCH PEAK RECOMMENDATIONS I ENJOYED THEM A LOT, GENUINELY IF YOU HAVE MORE SONGS LIKE THIS LET ME KNOW ^^!!!

@momissao YESSS OMGG Esthero has so many good songs! I usually don't like slower songs either, but I heard this and HADDDD to check out her other music ^_^ AND YES!! BIRTHDAY CAKE IS SOOO SILLYYYY! I heard it in the background of a video about Jetset Radio, and it was super interesting, so I NEEDED to find it. AND TYTY!!! I LISTEN TO A LOTTT OF DIFF STUFF, SO I GOTTA REACH INTO MY BRAIN BANKS TO REMEMBER, BUT I WILL TOTALLY SEND STUFF I THINK YOU'LL LIKE!

Yes please I implore you to send me more songs haha

@AgejoAngel

I DON'T KNOW - ERIKA
10/10
I don't even have to listen to this song, I already have it saved in one of my playlists ><
I have such a love for this song and a bunch of 2000 europop songs as I grew up listening to music like this. On top of being extremely catchy, a buncha europop from that era were just bangers. I have fond memories of this song playing on AMV's LOL.

You know ball. Great pic I can get why you enjoy this song hehehe!!!

LOVE IS ALWAYS ON YOUR SIDE - AND ONE

8/10

I think that was a really great song, I'm NGL though it was a bit slow for my liking? and it dragged for the whole 5-6 minutes that it played! That's not anything negative btw cuz it kept a steady and consistent/repetitive pace that was still a fun ride!

@alien_craigoXD

IT WAS A GREAT SONG, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR MORE IF YOU GOT ANY MORE ^^!

TODAS LAS TARDES QUE NOS ROBÓ EL FUEGO - CATARATAS EN SIBERIA
7/10
It's a really pretty song, I can see myself listening to this when I need a good cry. It's pretty slow for my taste for something I would listen to on the regular. I genuinely enjoyed this song a lot but as I expressed it's not a song I can see myself listening to on the regular. It's a very heavy and emotional feeling song and thats something I really love to find in songs/music in general^
@𝗞𝝘 𝗶 𝗦𝗧
Very beautiful song choice. don't let my low rating scare you!!

@Mintraindrops

Very interesting song, not my thing but a very fun listen!!^

NICE GUY - GRLWOOD

6/10

I think that was one of the shorter songs that i've been recommended. I feel like a lot is crammed into that short amount of time, thats not a bad thing! The chaos of the song was really fun in certain parts but I really couldn't bring myself to connect with the song entirely as much as I wanted to. I did give it a listen a few times though.

@4zarel-

Pretty neat song to send!! I saw you tried to send some more, I encourage you to if you feel up to it !

READY2FLOW - CUBENATURAL& METAROOM
7/10
This was such a fun listen! I feel like this is the kinda music/song I would choose to play in any rhythm game I play. it keeps me awake thats for sure. I believe i've heard metaroom music before but I may be mistaken. I don't really know what to say with this one, other than its a fun listen. I can see myself listening to this in the bg when I need/want to draw

DOG BUS - METAROOM & TELEMIST
9/10

same thought as the other one, feels like id play/find this on a rhythm game. However, I will say I liked this one a lot more than the first one simply because it was easier to follow and not as chaotic as the first one!! again chaos is never a bad thing, I just feel like I can appreciate the beat and music better with this ones pacing! I was just ab ready to get up and start jumping up n down, what a fun listen!

WHITE GUM - IGLOOGHOST
8/10
same as the last two.. lol... rhythm games... haha... (can you tell I like a specific genre of game) anyways,,, THIS ONE WAS PRETTY COOL? I really enjoyed the singing/rapping (?) in the bg it gave it personality that the other two didn't have. there was random places where you could hear a voice but this one keeps it all throughout the song which I really enjoyed. However, I will say it was the tamer one of the other two in terms of the chaoticness that the other two had.

@fern !! 𐂯 .ᐟ⸝⸝

GREAT PICS OVERALL! if you know the genre of music this falls under pls lmk. idt its breakcore (I may be wrong) LMK !!

LOSER - PENELOPE SCOTT

8/10

I'm ngl I kinda feel like I have a sorta soft spot for this type of music despite it not even being a favorite type of sorta... layout (?) of song. But I also remember being younger and listening to music pretty similar to this one. I also like that theres parts of it that sound almost "off tune" but the singer makes it work so well. I also think its a good song for when I wanna wind down or even cry, so ill be saving it to one of those playlists most likely >:)!!

@⯎marrlymars↷⭒★

TY FOR THE REC!!! I would love to hear more songs like this if you have em oomf ^^!!

TULPA  - HESSE KASSEL

7/10

The intro immediately woke me up LOL. I wasn't expecting a song in spanish but it was refreshing to in general. I really enjoyed this song all throughout and it really didnt feel like a long song up until the end... the end is really my only complaint ab this song because I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE ALL OF IT. the think is I feel like when the song finally winds down for the ending the ending itself is dragged out for such a long time. almost like they dont want to let it die and IDK if i'm a fan of that in all honesty. Because there was still so much of the song left I was sitting there wondering if it would randomly pick up again or not, and it never really did.

@kaixa

Such a good song regardless of the ending, PEAK music.
I got scared by the art on the video as I have LEPIDOPTEROPHOBIA (fear of butterflies/moths) LOL!!

♬♪₊˚₊˚✧ ﾟ

@momissao

oh, i'm so sorry for that! i didn't know...

i completely understand the thing about the ending, i thought the same the first time i listen to it. it's a little strange, considering that hesse kassel usually makes long songs

8/10

YESS! Another MCR song suggestion i'm so happy!! This is such a great pic, I will say again compared to other MCR songs I have some I prefer more than this one. that doesnt mean this one isnt a great one. I think the thing that does it for me really is the slow/quiet intro into the peak that is this song, I probably woulda ranked it up higher if it werent for that. EVEN THEN, still a high rating id like to think.

@K1ttyRAWR

ALMOST FORGOT AB THIS SONG SO TY FOR THE REMINDER >< :P !!!^^

VOODOO LADY - WEEN

great recommendations and fun listens overall! Sorry for responding relatively late!

LUXERY ELITE: WORLD CLASS -VAPOR MEMORY (?)
7/10

Holy half an hour of listening. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe this is just a whole album/playlist of music! I did listen to all 36 minutes of music. I only ranked it 7 because it IS a whole lot of music in one go. and idt id save every song. there were some tunes I liked more than others! however I would save this as a playlist to listen to on youtube. I actually got through the whole thing while doing HW. and thats just it!!! I think its a great playlist to study and do work to. I don't think I would listen to this outside of doing that, great bg music to listen to!

@Goltar
First person to send me smn that took me the longest to get through. dont regret it though! It was a great listen and it helped me get through some hw haha !!^^

NATIONAL ANTHEM (BUG'S SONG) - JAM MECHANICS

4/10
omg another band camp user!!
this is a really cute song, although I feel like i'm missing some context to this song? I feel like its a part to a story (correct me if im wrong). I would'nt really save this song because of this reason. however, as I said its a really cute song with a silly story in the lyrics I think! I dont have much to say about this one, dont let my low rating deter you it has nothing to do with it being a bad song. just not something I would save personally!

@-fritz-

I would love if you told me the reasoning behind sending this song specifically and a little more about the context behind it ! thank you for ur rec!!^^
♬♪₊˚₊˚✧ ﾟ

@momissao

yknow, I probably shouldve mentioned this. It was made in relation to a podcast, and a few of the jokes dont really make sense if you havent listened to the episode specifically the line "We’re like a trilogy unwatched 2/3’s abandoned and simply dropped," which is a joke making fun of his friend for watching the first two lord of the rings, and deciding to stop there instead of finishing the trilogy

MY BLACK ASS - SHELLAC

4/10

Not sure how to feel about it. I don't love nor do I really hate this one. It's got a long intro before any lyrics kicks in, and even throughout the song theres not a lot of lyrics to break the music. which in itself is already pretty repetitive. and then near the end its just the loudness of the guitar. and that stays for a very long period of time. kinda ear straining and not really in the best way. I wouldn't personally save it and I think a very specific and niche amount of people would enjoy this more than I have.

NO SPIRITUAL SURRENDERS - INSIDE OUT

8/10

I liked this one a lot more than the last one. It goes hard and feels heavy hitting in a lot of ways. I wasn't sure how to feel about the almost immediate break/silence in the beginning part but it thankfully picked back up again quickly . I also liked how the ending eases you out of what just happened instead of cutting abruptly which I never liked from these kinds of songs..

POISON HEART - RAMONES
9/10

my favorite of the three. Theres something so memorable about this song. I love the singers voice in general and style of song. its not even anything crazy or intense but it still sticks with you?? IDK IF THAT MAKES SENSE. the guitar is fun and the mini instrumental breaks are so enjoyable. feels like an oldie but even with that being said it doesn't feel old! im saving this one for sure!

@lincolntakanashi

I loved your recommendations!
