Whats a game, that no matter how many hours you’ve already put in, you always come back for more. For me its Tf2, I’ve played this game since 2015 and at this point I don’t think ill ever stop fully. Ive taken breaks, Ive thought I was done more time than I can count, and without fail I always crawl back for a little more. I love it and I love knowing its always there. Would love to hear what game that is for other people.

has to be minecraft for me, it's timeless. used to be growtopia, but that game has just completely gone downhill unfortunately

@samu€l Damn, You just reactivated a deep memory within me ... havent heard of that game in Years! genuinely such a bummer   Last time i went on there it was 99% bots spam advertising :-/ Good Memories Though .

@terryschlawg yeah it's so unfortunate. that game was my whole childhood

@samu€l

yeah has to be mc for me too. it's already great as it is in singleplayer, plus the various mods you can add and servers you can join makes it just much better as well.

Basically any rhythm game since they can't technically be finished. You always get rusty after time so you can spend time building skills back (tedious as it is)

Probably GeoGuessr, honestly.  It's already been over 10 years. I like maps...

Fallout 4, I'm basically tied down to it, since i always find myself coming back to it, no matter how long its been

@HeadofComedy

With the amount of mods for the game I completely understand, actually booted it up for the first time in years to play the fallout london mod, it was great.

@Orum bro, I play on ps4, and barely use mods. All my hours since 2020 have been exclusivly vanilla

Roblox,

Minecraft,

Rain World.

for me it's gotta be sims 2 :D i've been playing it for decades and i keep coming crawling back. it's like a perfect balance of fun and frustration xD the moment your neighborhood starts to feel connected and well made, it corrupts itself and you have to start all over again.

time is running out!

@varteres

Never have played the sims, but I can completely understand how you sink so much time into it. The limits on the amount of control you have must be madding because you can set just about everything up the way you want, but those little bastards can end up doing their own thing if they just feel like it. But it keeps you hooked, cause what if it goes right the next time.

@varteres Big Same, mad into Sims 2.

I think for me it's between Minecraft and the Binding of Isaac. I always come back to them, I have around 1100 hours in Isaac so far and I'm still excited to play it. I've played Minecraft on so many different things throughout the years i would be impossible to say how many hours I've played it for but I still find new ways to enjoy the game!

whenever i'm bored, i'll always end up playing alice: madness returns. i've replayed the game over and over again... and the game has collectables, meaning every replay i get to try and get to 100% completion. i'm also trying to get all the achievements on my xbox, i'm at 41/50 right now :>

Don't think I've been tied to any game for that long especially since I mostly play singleplayer games but I think NieR Replicant is the closest as it's the game I replayed the most and will probably continue to replay the most

I think it'll be Garry's Mod

Endless amount of addons and user content kept me in this game for much longer time than I thought lol. And I don't regret time I spended in sandbox with my friends, it's fun.

Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye!

Splatoon 2 is my heart and soul. Whenever I don't know what to play , I turn right back around to it and it's crazy good soundtrack

Only splatoon game I really got into. It came bundled with my switch back in 2017 and man it really was a blast. It and mk8d were the blackholes I sunk probably 300 hundred hours into that year. Salmon run, the new dual weapons, the new maps, and octo expansion, were all fuckin peak.

I love Mariokart Wii. I like how the driving feels and gameplay. The modding scene is also crazy too! I'm happy I can still play online with people using Wiimfi and CTGP Revolution.

@Mayday

The fact that you can so casually still play wii games online is one of my favorite things ever. Genuinely such an amazing gift from the community. As for mkwii yea that game is so fucking fun and competitive at the same time I understand how so many still play it everyday. Although I can’t lie, one time I booted up the online and got my ass handed to me so bad I realized I ain’t built for it. All the mods for the game I’ve seen have been crazy impressive too, im pretty sure almost every course from every MK game has been recreated in wii at some point. Although a question I have is do you use dolphin or og wii hardware?

@Orum I play straight from the hardware! Yeah the players online are ruthless but i've gotten lucky a couple of times XD Hoping I can get more tactical with how I use items though. I downloaded a mod so I could play as Shadow the Hedgehog using Birdo LOLOL

@Mayday

Thats fucking awesome, modding shadow the hedgehog into any game makes it 10x better. The Shadow mod in brawl is the best character in that game by far(to me).

@Orum OMG YESS I remember being so mad he wasn't a playable character lolol

Splatoon And Maybe Terraria? But I'm Certain About Splatoon I Love All The Games And DLC

Watch Dogs

@Geekatron

I fucking love watch dogs, I saw the trailer when I was a kid and thought it was genuinely the coolest game ever created. I actually recently replayed on pc with some clean up mods and man it really was such a blast. The creativity you can implement in the missions just makes it fun to go back and try the levels a different way. Whether it’s running in guns blazing with the shotguns and bombs or slowly picking off the enemies with different hacks without them even seeing you is so damn cool. The vibe was also amazing, I feel it really was able to capture the imminent future that technology was creating, like there is something so creepy about how much personal info you can see and how casual it all is. I can say that npc’s in watch dogs are some of the most dynamic and impressive npcs ive seen in a game, they just feel alive in ways that other npc’s don’t, from the data you collect on them, to their voice lines and animations. There was also the online functionality with hackers intervention in your game. It’s so cool because you had no idea who the hacker was and had to try to find them before it was too late, not too often but just enough to keep things interesting. Just a really special game that will always be a personal favorite.
