there's a lot of style clash on this site as a whole. things like the dark mode toggle, the toast notifications, and the media player doesn't really feel like they fit in... and the media player is extra annoying to me since I use Vista on my desktop, so there's a bit of a double taskbar situation lol. ik you can customise it but I'd just like it if the site devs can stick to one style, and ik the media bar is customisable,but I can't find a way to make it work still. it'd be nice if at the very least these things can be disabled.
tbh it feels like these elements are very vibe coded. I'm not going to state my opinions on vibe coding as it's a bit unrelated, nor will I outright claim this site is vibe coded, but the face it feels as such is not a good thing if you want to make a retro feeling site.
it's all a bit messy tbh.
that being said this is just constructive feedback, this is imo still better than how Spacehey has been in the last few years, partly due to the nicer community, partly due to the lack of poor decisions from the devs of Spacehey.
