hiiiii i was wondering if anyone knew how to record gameplay and mic input on a macbook air? i cant work it out :') ive had issues before where if i record myself playing a game the audio of the game isnt recorded and idk the best way around it/what recording software id need to use and also how to know if my mic audio is recording

hii, have you checked OBS? it's a pretty commonly used software for recording and streaming gameplay, so there's tons of tutorials online on how to use it! since you're probably only recording gameplay and mic, you wont need to change or input many things - just the screen, internal audio, and your mic.
i heard that MacOS 27 will let you record internal audio with the built-in screen recording tool, though i haven't tried it myself as i'm still on MacOS 15 haha
