why is the [advanced css] removing half of my code :( Closed

so my layout consists of 198 lines. when i paste the code in the layout creator to save it, it removes most of the code and only saves around 60 lines. why is that and WHAT DO I DOOO  

hello, i am a moron, this whole time ive been pasting my css at the bottom instead of at the top right after VS builder's css. i will leave this proof of my idiocy up just incase there are people out there who are also illiterate like me. good hunting.
