Hey all, I am a HUGE Nintendo DSi fan, and you can find multiple reviews relating to games on the platform. In all honestly i prefer my DSI to the 3DS despite the added functionality of the 3ds, just for how snappy and long lasting the DSI is.
I've really been enjoying the VN the ds's have actually. I loved phoenix write and am currently really enjoying hotel dusk.
Anyone else still kick around with their DS/3DS? what are your thoughts on the games? (emulation discussion good too :) )
Ds imo was peak vrs 3ds, I think by the time the 3ds came out the novelty was kind of gone. The 3d on the 3ds and circle pad just was not enough to keep it interesting. So many cool games came out on the ds it was so fresh and hype all the time.
I still have my DS lite from 2009-2010ish :)
Animal crossing wild world, the imagine series, the ds version of the Sims Urbz, all the mario games... now I'm feeling all nostalgic lol
I had a game called "A Witch's Tale" or something, an old rpg. I softlocked myself nearing the end of the game once and had to restart it lol. I never got around to finishing it (._.)
I miss that era of consoles, they were so good. I have a 3ds and such but the games just never hit the same :/

replying to both of you cause I have similar things to say. honestly agree, I think the DS was my favorite just cause of the stop n go nature? it worked great as a handheld for little gaps in time, 10-30 minute bursts with a few games where you could play for hours when you had the time. That being said, I've recently been playing the 3ds games a bit and I have to admit, there are some serious bangers.
sol, how is wild world? I've played new leaf but I've heard wild world is unique in a way.
I very often play on my 3ds from 2012! I got it secondhand and it's really fun. I like that it's backwards compatible and the games are really fun.
I still have my 3DS from 2014! I only have mariokart and pokemon games so far but I can't wait to mod mine to get more games!
