How many of you have pets?
Ever since I was a child we'd rescue and adopt all types of dogs. That would slow down as time went on and we moved to a city. More often than not, we'd have to give them away very fast - tough luck.
My mom woke me up one day only to hand me a kitten half the size of my hand - rescued once more.
We named her Lena :)
She's, what, 6+ years old? Let's say we've had her since 2020 or sooner.

Let me show you how she looks like these days:
Lena will accept pets and chin scratches only at certain times, and will definitely let you know when to stop by using her teeth and claws. She's also very easily overwhelmed.
