What does "all art is inherently political" mean?

Back to Art & Photography

I neither believe it is or isn't, im confused what the statement means to clarify. I've looked up the definition and it all says stuff in relation to the government so from my understanding, politics is anything government related (this could be wrong). I can understand that art can have deeper meanings (usually it does) but how is that at all related to politics? I fail to see how my own original art actually means something, to me it's mostly aesthetic and doesn't actually have a message or feeling behind it so I'm confused; If the creator doesn't put meaning into something, how can meaning be taken out? And does something having meaning make it political? I really can't understand this statement, none of the things I've found are helping me. Im also curious to know what my art actually says about me, because that's what i assumed the phrase meant initially- that it represents the person but i don't think that inference was right.

This is what my art looks like- i genuinely fail to see how anything I've created can be seen as political; these are all images where nothing is really going on and there's no meaning behind any of it.
