i honestly didn't notice it for the longest time when i first played, a little bit because i use speakers for audio rather than headphones, but mostly because i was too enraged by the evilness of the location. but once i noticed it, my god. it's my favorite soundtrack from the game. it's so sad and beautiful and just haunting.
it's been over a year since the game released and i still get chills every time i listen to it
