Do any of you know cool visual novels i could play? It's to get inspiration for mine and kinda see how the medium would work.
I have a played a couple of visual novels long ago. One was called Dead Plate and one was called Pine Point which is by the same artist who made the ramshackle pilot which i love and rewatch a lot and is also about a homeless kid.

you could play other SIG games (studio investigrave, the peeps who made dead plate) they're all rlly cool! my favorite of theirs is elevator hitch. you just google studio investigrave and an itch.io page with all their games should be the first result.
just scrolling through itch.io, theres tons of visual novels, and alot of them aren't too long. some ones i liked are Lookouts, Purrgatory (i think thats a visual novel), Adventures With Anxiety, Class Of '09 (which is on steam), CANIDAE, ect ect.
Vox dude already said something similar, but I reccomend playing racheldrawsthis games ! she worked on Dead Plate and made other cool games like Elevator Hitch and Married in Red. Other than that, you seem like someone who'd enjoy Saya no Uta or The House in Fata Morgana
