I was watching this anime a few months back, but paused due to life stuff.
I finally completed it, and man, it was INTENSE LOL I think one of the deaths that got to me was the elevator death. I guess it was because it was a nurse, not a student. I also just hate elevators, so watching her gruesome death made me pause and take a minute to process.
This anime felt so familiar too? I know I never watched it until now, but as a kid I may have seen certain scenes on youtube (the umbrella death). I also wasn't expecting the extra student to be a teacher / assistant teacher. Maybe I wasn't paying close attention (I was at work while watching) so I missed some details.
I thought the ending was bittersweet. We don't know what happened between Mei Mistake and Kouichi Sakaibara, whether it was a friendship or romantic relationship. I actually wondered if Sakaibara was dead near the end and didn't realize it, but seems that wasn't the case?
I don't know if I should read the manga to this one.. if anyone has read it, let me know. What did you think about this anime?
