Anyone here also a fan of The Elder Scrolls? What's yalls favorite game? Personally, I'm a big fan of Morrowind, even if the mechanics piss me off sometimes lol, I think the story and the music really make up for it imo :p
I would love a Morrowind remaster but I reasonably know that they'd probably never do that, but a guy can dream

I played Skyrim obviously, but haven't played any others. I've watched a lot of lore videos and all of that is rad. I really wanna play the oblivion remaster!

I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan! I started with Oblivion, and have also played Skyrim, ESO, and Morrowind. I think my favorite at the moment is Morrowind, I enjoy an amount of granularity/crunch in my game mechanics and Morrowind scratches that itch well.

Me! Though I mostly listen to lore videos and I only played Skyrim really, never even finished the main quest of course... Morrowind is definitely my favorite in terms of lore and overall feel, but it's too dated. Oblivion is kinda opposite, I like the mechanics the most but I hate the graphics and I am not really interested in Cyrodil as a province, would've much preffered if it stayed a Jungle. Skyrim was good enough in both gameplay and style for me and it has a lot of mods.
I think that next time I am playing Skyrim it's gonna be when the Skywind mod releases, you probably know about it, but they're remaking the whole Morrowind in Skyrim with additional goodies like dubbing and overall much more detail, really hyped for that one.
Anyways, you've got a favorite race? Mine would be the Orsimer.
@Ⰲⰵⰾⰵⱄ oh I am SO looking forward to the skywind mod ^-^ also, I am totally a jungle cyrodiil truther, so I 1000% agree with you there lol! I like Khajiit from a gameplay standpoint, but from a general lore standpoint I think the mer in general are pretty cool :)
Love both Skyrim and Oblivion. Have not played morrowind or the one before it.
Seriously would live in that world and disappear from this one forever if i were given the chance.
I have only played Skyrim and i love it, did multiple playtroughts and modded it to death, i was looking into playing Oblivion remake as soon as i manage to upgrade my PC, is it worth it?
@saibaburu I can't say anything about the remaster, but Oblivion is pretty good! The first time I finished the main quest I was drunk as hell and cried lol
@Sol i guess the story and gameplay are pretty good, the thing that has been keeping me from playing the original are the visuals unfortunately :(
I'm a big Oblivion enjoyer mainly! However, I've recently been replaying vanilla Skyrim and it's a far better game than I remember it being
I grew up playing Oblivion and I absolutely adored everything about it, it's still one of my favourite games. I love the glitching, weird unnatural dialogue, the quest lines, armour design, the lore, Cyrodiil, etc. I know I likely have nostalgia goggles with it, but the world of that game means a lot to me. I've played Skyrim, ESO & like an hour of Morrowind, I'd really love to finish Morrowind and play the other Elder Scrolls games but unfortunately I've just got a switch at the minute. And yess omg the music in these games are so good!
@wizard I actually originally played Skyrim, Oblivion was my second game and I still love it more than Skyrim. I got really attached to one of my HoK-es (who I have actually written some fic for 🤭), she only wore fine clothing and used a dagger. Only armor was her boots and maybe gauntlets. Some was enchanted (like the one you get in the DB quest line), but most of it wasn't. It's such a fun, quirky game! Jeremy Soule really went off with the music lol
Meeee, I need to add Skyrim to my games list omg. Anyways, I've invested at least 80-100 hrs in Skyrim and I'm still not done lowk...but I haven't played any of the other ES games sadly :( I realllyyyy want the Oblivion remaster thoooo
@Aida'sWandering🩷💜🖤 I can't speak to the remastered, but the original was super fun. They kept most of the voice acting in tact, with some minor va changes for repeat voices for the races (nords and orcs used to share a va, the elves iirc all had the same va, etc). It's very charming :)
@Sol Oooh, that's super cool! I'm glad they kept most of the VAs, omg that must add so much to the nostalgia factor for most of the player base, that's genuinely really neat! :D
I started with Oblivion and finished it once. I've been playing Skyrim since its release, in VR too, but now I'm back to pancake. My current build has 1800 mods. I haven't updated it in months and need to add new cool stuff I'm tracking. Tried ESO for a bit but didn't got hooked. I need to play the Oblivion remaster before Skyblivion releases.
