I think bold font in comments is broken. I try to bold my font multiple ways and it never works on initial comment. I can reply in bold, though.

I think the bug has to do with the @'s in the comment replies get auto bolded. That bolded parameter seems to carry over to the following text, and often times the next spawned instance of the reply/comment editor in my experience.
An ULTRA FAST and easy workaround in the mean time is to hit Ctrl + A, then Ctrl + B once or twice, depending if you want everything bold or not.
@X Yeah, this is just for bulletins as far as I’ve seen. I can make my font bold in the post, I can make my font bold in replies to comments, I can make my font bold in replies to replies, but I cannot make my font bold in regular comments.
