For a series I would totally recommend black summer! and then theres the walking dead and its spinoff's ofc. Theres also a K-Drama called All Of Us Are Dead and it was really good (there should be a season 2 coming soon...).
For films I recommend:
Rec (2007) Its a good Spanish found footage movie
28 days later (2002) + the rest of the trilogy if ur into it
I am Legend (2007) The creatures are kinda a weird mix between zombies and vampires, maybe more vampires but i'm including it anyways...
Dawn of the Dead (2004) you could also watch the classic from 1978
Train to Busan (2016) Its a really good Korean film, made me cry a bit though lol

I don't know many others, because my personal tastes lean more towards horror-romance or horror-comedy 😅
