Making my own Whiteboard software with GDScript

I wrote my own blog post on this topic in detail, but basically I didn't like the options that were out there and Microsoft decided to nerf their Whiteboad software, so I'm making my own. (And they force updates on you too. 😠)

I'm new to Godot, but here's what I got so far:

Not very much right now, but hopefully by next week the eraser will work and things will look more... polished? I dunno. Who knows? I'll update this forum post as much as I possibly can.

• I got the highlighter color and size controls working.
• Figured out how to make buttons. The highlighter and pen buttons are functional, but I need to add some more to it.
• Made the bacground nootbook-y instead of a grid pattern. (It's just my preference, but if you want the grid, I'll rey to do something about that.)

I need to make graphics for the buttons. 

I made icons for the buttons.

I'd like to make this toolbar rounder, but the background definitley needs to be whiteish, if nothing else.

Styled it up. (Jeez why is that so hard? Maybe I'll get used to it after a while.)

I can't directly put the video here, but I got the eraser to work. It deletes by individual stroke, not pixel.

Love that hand-drawn look for the buttons.

You can move indidual lines now. I want to make it so you can move the sticky notes and text too. And perhaps other option?

It's been too long, but I made an Itch.io Page for it. It's not released yet, but you can check out the Update section to see what I've been up to so far.

Figured out how to sticky notes. (Rectangles, really.)

Few things.

1, I made a saving function. Read more about it here - here.

2, Yesterday I added more to my UI.

I can't directly post the video, but yesterday, I made it so you can change the background and line color. Yes, you can save it too (for each file). I believe in aesthetics. That's the least I can do.

You can change the background patterns if you want.

1.Notebook (default.)

2. Grid

3. Nothing
