My personal biggest pet peeve is when someone says that an album/song/artist is genuinely bad just because they don't like it. Like u can have ur opinions but to say something is straight up bad when its clearly otherwise is irritating </3 Objectivity is a rarity fr.
my biggest music pet peeve is when people get shit for being alternative and into pop music... god forbid people like to have fun from time to time

I used to have this friend group where one person was like into punk I think and on the surface they were like "yeah I accept everyone's taste in music :)" but also make fun of artists who don't write their songs themselves (which like kinda fair if they weren't even in the room like huh?? unless it's a cover) and also once on that same exact day said (direct, although translated quote) "no offence Elle but I couldn't care less about those pop singers of yours" which by itself yeah alright but less than two hours after basically claiming that every single pop artist ever doesn't participate in writing their songs.....
tl;dr: dude said they allow everyone to have their own tastes but then makes fun of/gives shit for people who have different tastes than them (safe to say we were never that close and haven't talked since they switched classes when we were 13)
@thestoryofelle urghhhhh that sounds so annoying. Like its one thing if they don't like ur music but how r they gonna shit on it directly to u multiple times...
