as the title says, im looking for a good quality camera (not some tech-slop thats costs more to fix than getting a new one or something that'll break under a year) that can both take videos and photos. size doesnt really matter but it'll be nice if its easy to carry around. anything will help thx馃拫馃拫
I have a Vivitar Retro Keychain Digital Camera I got for I think $14 at Walmart that I use for marching band
It records video and takes pictures
The quality of the photos look something like this
Downsides to the camera is that it doesn鈥檛 record audio (at least not that I鈥檓 aware of) and you have to buy a MicroSD card which is understandable I guess
But it is a pretty cool camera
@Shadow Anomaly isn't vivitar known for making "bad" cameras? I've watched some videos about cameras from that brand and they look like those typical drop-shipped brandless cameras that shoot at 480p 10fps at best and rely on AAA batteries
I bought a Temu "DV Camcorder" for 22$ with a 32gb memory card included, knowing it was gonna look terrible and that's what I aimed for, the videos look a bit better than webcams but they're 4:3 stretched to 16:9 and it records low quality audio
Perhaps the JVC Everio series or a Sony Handycam (the JVC ones feel more forgotten though)
Perhaps the Panasonic HD series since some record on SD cards instead of hard drives and tapes
I like my Pentax Optio Z10. It is a digicam from 2007 and takes pictures up to 3264x2448 and video up to 640x480 30fps.
