been REALLY digging that kind of shit lately. i’m talking about artists like pharmakon, genocide organ, anenzephalia, whitehouse, etc etc.
Hanatarash is pretty good, i like hanatarash 3 the most
@DavidG1312 i’ve been wanting to check out those guys!
obsessis, lana del rabies, jarboe, uboa
while not a big interest, it sometimes does stumble upon noise releases that it gets really absorbed into
this one↓ being the latest of these
Also found a torrent of the entirety of Hanatrash's discography while searching for something unrelated but never Really got into any of them
really not sure how to talk about noise in general (;´д`)ゞ

Whitehouse is cool but peter sotos is a real piece of shit. Though noise is full of shady characters. If you haven't listed to wolf eyes or Aaron Dilloway, both of them are rad. Robert Ashley rules, Nurse with wound is essential, Merzbow is another one. Noise-Rock is more my zone, more noisey, experimental stuff, as opposed to straight noise. Slit throats, skin graft, and the rita are cool harsh noise zone.
Hullo!
You should listen to some ramleh, their 1984 thing is quite awesome in terms of noize. Kazumoto endo is cute too, really ear piercing stuff. Brighter death now and Sutcliffe Jugend you should also check out. We love shady characters!
nyan
@skrewdriver I love Ramleh, BDN, and Sutcliffe Jugend!
Did you check out the gerogerigegege? their stuff is very experimental, but they're most known for making harsh noise music, some of their songs mostly lean onto being noise rock, but I suggest checking their music out!!!
If noise rock might be your thing, I also suggest listening to skullflower, their music has some bm influence too, if you also like black metal
@lavashlol can’t stand black metal unfortunately, but i have been wanting to check out the gerogerigegege!
not a huge fan of harsh noise, but i love noise rock and grindcore

the gerogerigegege, black leather jesus, alberich, straight panic, liver mortis, and ragk 😌

I think I posted in this thread before my old account got removed (thanks for that, assholes).
But yes, PE/Noise/Death Industrial has been one of my primary "genres" for almost 25 years now.
BDN, Atrax Morgue are the two "acts" that I consistently return to the most, and have amassed a good physical media collection of the two. I was lucky enough to briefly have an email exchange with Marco before he offed himself (a humble brag).
Lately I've been into Hate Sermon- Duality of Man. Truly dark and oppressive
I'll be sharing this live until the end of time probably

@(m)tropy I love Pharmakon!
have you checked out the compilation album "broken flag: a retrospective 1982-1985"? its a really good compilation in my opinion with a good mix of more popular and more niche stuff.

Master/Slave Relationship is one of my favorite PE projects, kinda underrated from the look of things
As far as noise goes, Dissecting Table and Government Alpha tickle my fancy

Sickness's "fuck your punk rock" LP is a pretty fun time. i really like this guy named Massimo who released a couple records on mego back in the day, "hello dirty" is in my top 5 noise albums ever. it's practically a party cd. girl talk went a lot more pop but he had some very noisy moments on his first record.
a band i really like is presto and spartanite but a lot of their material isn't even documented, so its one 7" and a track on a compilation but they are wicked awesome. Also absolutely look into Lucas Abela and his dual plover label, he made a record out of a malfunctioning car sound system, turntables played wrong, Beijing radio manually cut down to a cd length audio.piece. He's on the last Death Grips record too.
i don't care all that much for straight power electronics. i liked that one real popular ramleh record and ive listened to all of it Whitehouse's 80s stuff but nothing in that realm appeals much to me. it's not due to aesthetics, but more that i like some variety and playfulness in my noise.
