I really liked this movie when I was younger.. tbh for a while I thought it was a fever dream but I found out wasn't a long while ago but I liked the movie "Mars Needs Moms" that movie was cool imo. Idk if you've watched it b4, but if you haven't I'd recommend it !!

Seconding The X Files! It's fun, mysterious, and so utterly 90's. There is more than just aliens but I have fallen in love with the show and it's pretty much the only thing I watch now.

I would highly recoment Disclosure day. the aliens are't really the main attraction as much at its a movie about what the gov would do with aliens if they existed. very eye opening movie and it new, it was released just this year.
No One Will Save You was really good, it has basically no dialogue which was interesting

I really liked Monsters vs. Aliens, Planet 51, & one of my personal favorites is The Fifth Element. I recommend those if you want movies with aliens or science fiction.
If you're still looking for media, I would totally recommend the show Falling Skies. It was one of my favorites as a kid, and I've been thinking about rewatching it a lot lately, as it's been almost over a decade since I watched it.
star trek ds9 only has like 4 human characters and the rest are aliens. theres a lot of lore about the bajorans, cardassains and ferengi especially but we learn a lot about the other aliens too!
