@Shen I’d recommend Wire as well as Colin Newman’s solo music! If you like Sad Lovers & Giants you’ll definitely like that. I also recommend the Teardrop Explodes :DDD

@autopsyofanangel i enjoy all of those but have been meaning to get into the psychedelic furs more! I highly recommend Death In June’s early stuff (The Guilty Have No Pride and Nada)! I also really recommend Viagra Boys, Gang of Four, Essential Logic, Suicide, Wire, Automatic, Kleenex/LiLiPUT, Pere Ubu, The Slits, Fad Gadget, This Heat, Ludus, Girls At Our Best, Pylon, Young Marble Giants, and Wall of Voodoo (their first two albums)!

@steven yes they are awesome and highly underrated (in my opinion)
i’m not too sure if i’m right on the money about genre here, but check out the entirety of the elephant 6 collective (recording studio). i love their bands. one famous elephant 6 person is actually of montreal. also maybe check out the band past self, they’re korean. madmans esprit is also up there, but it’s more metal than new wave or post punk. you might also like jfarrari, nite, jun togawa, and although they’re not EXPLICITLY post punk, my absolute favourite band of all time BUCK-TICK or their frontman atsushi sakurai’s personal stuff. hell, i’ll plug the russian band kino too, or even their frontman’s personal stuff (viktor tsoi).
